Business Mathematics

Business Mathematics is the mathematics used by the industry to effectively manage and run their business. In other words, business mathematics used to solve financial problems and to help the business run the business in order to obtain advantage (profit). The business world uses of mathematics in accounting, inventory management, marketing, sales forecast, and financial analysis. The curriculum emphasizes quantitative methods (statistics, time series analysis, and operational research) to solve business problems. In addition, students can take several courses from the Business School FMU (such as financial analysis and reporting, corporate finance, investments, portfolio management).
